Ki-shirt-o

Shirt - Topshop (similar)
Top - Topshop (similar)
Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - Zara (similar)
Bag - ASOS

This outfit was a bit of a mish mash of lots of old pieces in my wardrobe that I tried to style up a different way. Some of you may remember this shirt worn as a dress aaaages ago on the blog so this was a totally different look with it, almost channeling the kimono trend. Also, I was saying in a previous post my love of these nude shoes has been resurrected, well the same goes for the black ones. They're surprisingly comfortable and I'm thanking myself for my compulsive shopper traits buying them in two colours.

ASOS FF Challenge: Look 5/5

Trousers - River Island
Top - H&M
Coat - ASOS
Boots - Pull & Bear (similar)
Bag - Zara (similar here and here)

Drum roll please, we have reached the final look in this five part series with ASOS Fashion Finder. You can view the entire edit here, it feels like ages ago that I started posted these but I hope you've enjoyed them!

This is definitely my favourite of the five looks. This coat/cape is absolutely amazing, I adore the warm autumn colours, especially with this lipstick. Just like the last look, I think you can get away with a print clash because the trouser print is pretty subtle. The bright Zara handbag finishes off the look perfectly.

ASOS FF Challenge: Look 4/5

Trousers - River Island
Top - ASOS
Coat - H&M (similar)
Scarf - Ebay
Shoes - ASOS

For the penultimate look with these beaut River Island trousers I decided to go all sophisticated with a lot of camel. I love this burberry-alike scarf, you should be able to find loads of similar ones by searching tartan scarf on eBay. The tartan print of the trousers is relatively muted so I think you can get away with adding another check without it being too over the top. I'm still loving this camel coat from H&M last year but I'm also reeeallly lusting after this Mango beauty but struggling to justify another purchase after ordering this ASOS coat yesterday. Coats coats coats.

Only one more to go now, I bet you're all on the edge of your seats waiting to see it!

Coats Galore

Behold, my outerwear wish list. There's quite a lot of colour in there this year! I think top of the pay day priorities is the lilac one, closely followed by the camel trench coat. Winter is just too much for me!
I also couldn't leave out these beautiful Topshop leather biker jackets. Despite my constant coat and jacket buying, I've yet to add a real leather number to the wardrobe so perhaps that orange number will be the one. One can hope eh?

PS- since this post was written the purple coat may have been ordered...

ASOS FF Challenge: Look 3/5

Trousers - River Island
Top - Topshop
Waistcoat - Forever 21 (similar here and here)
Shoes - ASOS
Bag - Mulberry

For look #3 I decided to mix it all up and go all white everythaang - except the trousers obv. I thought this complimented the pattern of the trousers nicely and let them stand out. I don't know if any of you remember from previous posts but I used to have the ASOS 'hat trick' sandals but have decided to upgrade to these slightly higher 'high tide' ones. They're still very walkable and just make your outfit that little bit more fancy. Win win.
This bag is supposed to be for men but I actually love it, it's the nicest leather and such a nice, bright colour! 2 to go!

ASOS FF Challenge: Look 2/5

Trousers - River Island
Dress - Motel Rocks
Coat - ASOS
Shoes - Zara (similar)

For the second look of my 'Five Ways to Wear' edit with ASOS FF, I decided to go for a more fancy, night out outfit. I ended up wearing this Motel Rocks midi dress and just hiked it up with a belt to make it more of a tunic length. I think the ASOS sleeveless trench finished it off perfectly, being a surprisingly good match for the dress.

This was a prime example of something I'd never usually think to wear together but I'm actually pretty happy with the way it turned out. I must try and think of 5 different looks for everything before I buy it, it would definitely save me a bob or two!

ASOS FF Challenge: Look 1/5

Trousers - River Island
Top - Topshop
Faux Fur - Topshop (similar)
Bag - ASOS (similar)
Shoes - Topshop

When ASOS FF challenged me to style these trousers up 5 different ways for a 'Back to School' edit, my first thought was - those trousers are really nice! My second thought was - five is loads, this might be quite hard!

It definitely was a challenge as they are quite a statement piece in themselves but it made me think and try out some different looks to get more wear out of an item. I could definitely do with improving my cost per wear statistics!!

I was going to post them all in one post, but I'm actually quite pleased with the way the shots came out and decided to post them in separate posts to give you all the links. Bascially instead of me showing you all the stunning outfits and what an amazing time I'm having at LFW I'm going to sob into my pillow cause I didn't get to go and post these five instead!

For look 1, I decided to go for a bit of a print clash and introduce some faux fur. I love this gilet but have struggled to find occasions on which to wear it in the past. I think my problem was I was trying to wear it in winter when it was a bit too cold and a proper coat is required. However this was perfect for the beginning of autumn when it's still quite mild! Definitely have my eye on this blush pink one here.

Hope you enjoy the posts!

Tencel Denim

Top - Topshop
Skirt - Urban Outfitters (similar)
Coat - ASOS
Trainers - Adidas
Bag - H&M

I feel like I'm definitely channeling Megan here with her love of duster coats and stan smiths. We've been having a last little burst of summer here in Glasgow the last week or so but I'm sure the sub zero temperatures will hit us when we least expect it.
This ASOS mac was an absolute steal at £22 and I think there are still a few sizes left so don't waste any time - get over there and snap it up. It's perfect for tiding you over until thick, winter coats are required and it's a bit different from most of the duster coats around just now.
I've had this tennis skirt for ages but just haven't got round to wearing it so I'm glad I managed to squeeze it in before the summer is a distant memory!

Afternoon Tea, Dahhling

Dress - Topshop (long version here)
Coat - Topshop
Sandals - ASOS
Bag - ASOS (similar)

My friend threw a very sophisticated afternoon tea for her birthday the other day so I took the opportunity to get all dressed up. I have to say there was something nice about wearing a fancy dress on a Sunday - I may make a habit of it. Either that or slob in PJs all day. This dress was actually another potential engagement party dress (can you tell I was having a mare and bought a bizillion options?!) and I decided to try and dress it down a bit for a more casual day look. The black accents keep it casual and not overly girly and the red lip finished it off perfectly.
